12 Sweet and Refreshing Strawberry Matcha Nail Ideas for Spring

Refreshing Strawberry Matcha Nail

For spring, matcha nails are a fun and new way to do your nails. An editor at InStyle came up with 12 nail ideas based on strawberry matcha, including rosy pink French tips and green auras.

It’s so fun to turn a favorite treat into a manicure. Hailey Bieber is no stranger to the trend; in fact, she started it with glazed donut nails, blueberry milk nails, and even flirty martini nail art. This spring, I’m copying Bieber with a new pink-and-green manicure that tastes as good as my favorite iced strawberry matcha.

Strawberry matcha manicures are both earthy and sweet. They can have pastel-tinted French tips, an earthy green marble pattern, or a soft wash of both colors that looks like watercolor. It takes ideas from matcha shops and also from the new green plants and flower bouquets that are so common in the spring. There are many subtle ways to try the look, like painting plaid checks on with sheer jelly polishes or putting a sheer layer of chrome with green reflects on top of a blush pink polish.

Green Cat Eye

Pink rhinestones and pearl appliqués arranged to look like flowers and butterflies look great on top of green cat-eye polish. The look is deceptively easy and is great for people who are good at DIY.

Pastel Blooms

These French tips that alternate between pink and green are simple and sleek, but they also look otherworldly. They have blooming tulips on them to make them look like garden fairies.

Mix-and-Matcha

Milky pink and green look so cute together, especially when you add stars and polka dots. Avoid a rounded nail shape to keep the design from looking too fancy. Instead, go for a classic almond or square shape.

Matcha Clouds

A wave of clouds, glitter, and strawberries float on top of sheer layers of pink and green polish in this dreamy set. Butterfly stickers make the head-in-the-clouds effect even stronger.

Glow of Matcha

Choose a pale pink polish with a thin layer of chrome powder on top for a more subtle look. This chrome has green reflections that sparkle in the sunlight, which is becoming more and more common.
