We’re in the middle of the change from winter to spring, and my feeds are full of nail trends from all over the place. It looks like March might be a bit of a free-for-all when it comes to seasonal manicures. Some of us are sticking with dark, moody colors like mulled-wine reds and espresso browns, while others are already going for pastel manicures or pretty floral nail art.
With so many choices, it’s time for a full palette cleanse on my nails. A nude manicure is the best way to reset because it’s both subtle and eye-catching. We can show you that a neutral manicure doesn’t have to be boring, whether it’s clear, milky, sheer beige, or creamy brown. Here are 13 nude nail ideas for a sleek spring reset.

French with clouds
The Studio star Zoë Kravitz showed off a “cloudy French” manicure made by famous nail artist Betina Goldstein at the 2026 Golden Globes. To get the natural look at home, start with a base coat and one layer of a pinky-nude polish. Goldstein uses The Gel Bottle’s Chiffon BIAB, but if you don’t want to use gel, you could try Dazzle Dry’s Rose Quartz. Next, put a thin layer of a milky nail polish on the tips only. Essie’s Arctic Jelly is a great choice.
The Glass Slipper
Goldstein also made the beautiful “glass slipper” manicure using clear press-on nails and a mix of magnetic gels.
3/13 Rosé Season
Nail artist Mateja Novakovic says, “Rosé nails are the new classic nude this summer.” Blend a layer of Manucurist’s Moon, a pearly white, with Active Glow Blueberry to get the same look.

French that you can’t see
The invisible French manicure is the dream of every minimalist. It uses a neutral base and thin white lines to make negative space. Alexandra Teleki’s modern twist on the classic style is very eye-catching.

Alyx Lippiatt, a nail artist from the UK, used Gelcare’s Cashew Milk, a milky beige with a hint of peach that matches the nutty tones of its name, to make this super-creamy manicure.

A Soft Shimmer
The snow might just be starting to melt, but we always love a little icy manicure. Lippiatt adds some celestial sparkle to short squoval nails here.
Clean as a whistle
A glossy true-nude polish on short square nails is the most soapy look there is.

A Beautiful Mix
Don’t tell celebrity nail artist Iram Shelton if someone ever told you to choose just one nail color. Shelton mixes two nude colors to make this silky manicure: OPI’s Put It In Neutral, a sheer pink, and Bare My Soul, a soft beige.

Coffee Crush
A manicure that doesn’t match will never be boring. Using Halo Taco’s Barista Bundle, nail artist @lolo.nailedit makes a beautiful ombré manicure with neutral colors, from espresso brown to an oaty taupe, and a lot of sparkle.

Blur in Action
Do you like a matte finish that feels soft? Manucurist’s new Active Blur is all you need. This powder-pink polish is a beautiful manicure on its own, but it also smooths and strengthens your nails.

Ice Cream with Almonds
You can’t make me believe that OPI’s Put It In Neutral doesn’t look good on any shape or length. Exhibit two: this simple almond-shaped mani is perfect.
Swirl with spots
Nail art on bare nails is always in style. It looks both fun and classy to use white swirls and gold specks on a neutral nail base.

Ivory Silk
This creamy, opaque look is definitely more ivory than the sheer pinks and beiges we usually see in nude manicures. It feels especially right for late winter and early early spring.
