If you, like me, like light moisturizers better than heavy face creams, please try Neutrogena’s Hydro Boost Water Gel if you haven’t already. Jennifer Garner and Tate McRae, both Neutrogena spokeswomen are two of the many fans of the plumping moisturizer But I recently found a new version of the classic cream: the Hydro Boost SPF 50 Face Moisturizer, which some people say is better than the original. Over 10,000 people bought the moisturizer in the last month alone, and I’m doing the same while it’s on sale for $20.
Neutrogena Hydro Boost Hyaluronic Acid Face Moisturizer with SPF 50
Neutrogena Hydro Boost Hyaluronic Acid Face Moisturizer with Sunscreen, Broad Spectrum SPF 50, Fragrance-Free Facial Moisturizer to Hydrate and Soothe Dry Skin, 1.7 fl. oz. Amazon $27 $20 at Amazon
The Neutrogena Hydro Boost SPF 50 Moisturizer is a day cream that makes your skin feel better and plumps it up. The oil- and fragrance-free formula works for all skin types, even dry, acne-prone, and sensitive skin. It absorbs quickly and has a light, gel-like feel. It has a cooling, non-occlusive feel and provides a lot of sun protection all year round because it has SPF 50.
Like the original cream, this one has hyaluronic acid which is known as the “hero hydrator” in the skin care world. In other words, you should expect a full dewy finish right away after putting it on. Glycerin also pulls moisture from the air around it, locks it into the skin, and keeps it moist. The cream goes against the old idea that greasy, chalky sunscreens are the best way to protect against UV rays, which are the main cause of visible skin aging. Instead, expect a finish that doesn’t leave any trace (on all skin tones), super fast absorption, and a base for makeup that doesn’t pill and bounces.
Lastly, vitamin E is in the mix, and it works as a skin-softening emollient This ingredient is an antioxidant that protects against free radicals and slows down hyperpigmentation and other signs of aging.
A 62-year-old shopper said the cream makes their skin “silky smooth” and another fan in their 60s said it was “excellent” for their “super-dry” skin An 80-year-old shopper with “hardly any creases or wrinkles” swears by the moisturizer for its ability to make her look younger.
The Neutrogena Hydro Boost Hyaluronic Acid Face Moisturizer SPF 50 is the best moisturizer for plump, dewy skin and great sun protection that you won’t even notice. Take a look at more face creams below.
