In my opinion, winter-to-spring transition nails are some of the hardest to get right. It’s not “spring” spring yet, even though we’re out of the depths of winter and looking forward to longer days and warmer weather. I’m still wearing my winter coat, for example. As we move from the colder months to the first days of spring, it can be hard to choose what nail colors and styles to get at the salon.

You see, I’m getting tired of the dark and moody colors I wear on my nails in the winter. I want to try something a little more spring-like right now that still feels like it’s the right time of year. But those bright summer and spring nail colors just seem like too much right now.

Milky manicures are still very popular, but lilac milk nails are a great color to wear from winter to spring. Adding a little lavender to your wintery milky manicure will make it look like spring, but it will still be classy and stylish. Choose sheer, milky nail colors that let your natural nails show through.
